Antigua has great hikes. The route to Rendezvous Beach via Turtle Bay leads to one of the island’s most untouched beaches. The Pillars of Hercules hike starts from Galleon Beach and takes about 20–30 minutes to reach striking natural rock formations. Go at low tide and wear water shoes.
Grenada, known as Spice Island, is all about hiking to waterfalls. The island offers trails through lush rainforests and mountainous terrain, leading to cascades tucked deep in tropical greenery. Its vibrant, green landscape makes every hike feel like an adventure.
Montserrat, known as the “Emerald Isle of the Caribbean,” offers some of the region’s most memorable hiking experiences. Trails lead you through lush green landscapes, toward ancient petroglyphs, the fascinating “Buried City” near the volcanic exclusion zone, and even down to the secluded white sands of Rendezvous Beach. Routes range from easy walks to challenging treks, so hiring a local guide is highly recommended to ensure you stay on track, learn the island’s stories, and enjoy the journey to the fullest.
Anguilla may be known for its pristine beaches, but it also offers serene hiking opportunities. Trails wind through coastal landscapes, limestone cliffs, and quiet nature reserves, revealing panoramic ocean views, hidden coves, and vibrant local flora. Windward Point is a 2.5 mile hike that ends with spectacular views of Sint Maarten and on a clear day, St. Barths.
